Matthew Mariani is an experienced litigator who joined Bell Legal Group after a decade of serving as a medical malpractice defense trial attorney in the Carolinas.
He considers litigation and the representation of individual’s rights a privilege and passion, as evidenced by his recognition as a Super Lawyers Rising Star as well as the distinction of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch. Matthew periodically lectures at various conventions and continuing education seminars regarding risk mitigation and the litigation process.
Matthew received his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (2009). He was inducted into the Omicron Delta Epsilon Economic Honors Society and was a member of the UNC Soccer practice team. He earned his law degree from the Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, graduating Magda Cum Laude (2013).
Prior to joining Bell Legal Group, Matthew worked as one of the managing partners at a national trial firm with a focus on medical malpractice defense. He is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
When Matthew is not practicing law, he values traveling the world with his wife Courtney, pursuing athletics and fitness, and spending time with family.
